Peak Khan Tengri

So we want to introduce you to the charming views of the nature of Kyrgyzstan. And in the tours you will be able to explore the peak of Khan Tengri, 6995 meters above sea level. But thanks to the ice cap, the peak has an altitude of 7010 meters above sea level. Customers on tours in Kyrgyzstan will be able to explore that the peak is located in the Issyk Kul region near the border of Kazakhstan.

During the tours in Kyrgyzstan, you can learn that the locals prefer to call the peak as "The Prince of Spirits" or "The Lord of the Sky". But in the past, the peak had different names, in different time periods, as the researcher P. Semenov made a mistake and confused it with Pobeda peak. At first, the peak had a name like Kan Tau, which means Blood Mountain. And so it was called because of the fact that the blood of the jumpers was on the mountain and also because of the sunset red color.

You can also find out on tours of Kyrgyzstan in a rented car that in 1931, a group from Ukraine could be the first to climb to the top of the peak. But in Soviet times, not all people could explore the peaks of the mountains. Rather, it was due to the fact that the territory of the mountains was not well explored. Our clients will be able to get a closer look at the mountain, rent a car and also enjoy the views of the Enilchek glacier, Lake Merzbacher, get acquainted with the scenery of valleys, rivers and gorges.
