Day 1: Bishkek - Kyzyl Oi
We are glad to see you in Kyrgyzstan. The driver will meet you at the Manas International Airport and transfer to Bishkek for about 30 minutes. On arrival you will have a city tour and visit Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic and so on. The next destination is Kyzyl Oi village. We will drive over the southern part of Kyrgyzstan and enjoy breathtaking views of celestial mountains and unique gorges. On the way you will admire panoramic view of Tue Ashuu, which altitude is 3000-meter high. Overnight is in a home stay.
Day 2: Kyzyl Oi - Son Kul
In the morning we will travel to Son Kul Lake. It is the second largest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan and located in Naryn region on the altitude 3016 meters above the sea level. Kyrgyz nomads used to come here for relaxation. This lake is enclosed by mountains and herders started to use it as a pastureland. Night is in nomadic dwellings - yurts.
Day 3: Son Kul - Tash Rabat
Today we will drive to Tash Rabat after horse-riding on Son Kul Lake. Here you will have a chance to share culture and traditions with local people. Tash Rabat Caravanserai is Stone Castle from the 14th century that located on the Great Silk Road at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. On a tour you will see that this structure was built of stone blocks inside a mountain at an elevation of 3200 m above sea level. There are 31 rooms in the mountain and walls are 1 m thick. Long time ago it was an underground prison. Night is in a yurt.
Day 4: Tash Rabat - Kochkor
In the morning we will travel over captivating gorge and via the mountain pass that is 3 000 meters high to the Kochkor village. Here you will learn about our national felt carpets that a family show you how to do. In addition, visit a small handicraft museum there and see silver decorations, coats made of wolfs, horse saddle decorations, carpets and many other things. Night is in a homestay.
Day 5: Kochkor - Issyk Kul southern shore - Skazka - Karakol
In the morning we will travel to "the pearl of Central Asia" - Issyk Kul Lake. It is the second largest alpine lake in the world and said to be a sacred lake. The next destination is the Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon situated on the southern shore of Lake Issyk Kul near the village Tosor. Skazka is exclusive and interesting place where the red sand takes various forms. We will drive to Bokonbaeva village and meet a local eagle-hunter that using the eagles to hares and foxes. In addition, you will take photos with birds. On your way to Karakol town we will have a break to see the famous landmark Jeti Oguz and the Broken Heart Mountain. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Karakol - Issyk Kul northern shore - Bishkek
Your tour is continuing in the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake to Bishkek city. On the way you will see whole lake and even see a panorama view of it. For sure you will want to back here again and again. See petroglyphs that were made by shamans 2 000 years ago and dated back to 800 B.C. Transfer to a hotel for rest.
Day 7: Bishkek - Airport
Morning transfer to airport. Have a safe flight!
