Day 1: Bishkek
We are glad to see you in Kyrgyzstan. When you arrive at Manas International Airport you will be transferred to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan (30-minute drive from the airport). You will have a city tour of Bishkek and visit the Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic and so on. Don't forget to visit our Asian Bazaar and learn more about locals selling and buying fresh fruits, vegetables and so on. Transfer to a hotel for rest.
Day 2: Bishkek - Alamedin gorge - Bishkek
Today we will visit Alamedin gorge and have a hiking tour in this amazing gorge. See yurts which are nomadic dwellings. The mountains in this gorge are covered with fir trees and along the full route is a mountain river which ends with a waterfall that flows from the rocky mountains. Travelers will enjoy seeing the views of Mother Nature. Transfer to a hotel for sleep.
Day 3: Bishkek - Burana - Chon Kemin
This tour will start by travelling to Chon Kemin gorge. You will visit Burana Tower of about 11th century minaret and an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). On arrival to Chon Kemin gorge you will have 3 hours of horse riding through a mountain forest. On the top you will see the panorama view of the gorge. Night is in a home stay.
Day 4: Chon Kemin - Rafting - Kochkor
Today is a rafting tour along a mountain river! We are sure you will love it. Professional rafting staff will give a short explanation so you can be transferred to Kochkor village. In Kochkor village a local family will show you how our national felt carpets are made. On the way you can visit a small handicraft museum and see silver decorations, coats made of wolves, horse saddle decorations, carpets and more. Night is in a home stay.
Day 5: Kochkor - Issyk Kul southern shore - Jeti Oguz
In the morning we will travel to the outstanding Issyk Kul Lake. It is the second largest alpine lake in the world and called "the pearl of Central Asia. This lake is defined to be a sacred one. Then we will travel to Bokonbaeva village and visit a local eagle-hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles. Afterwards is transfer to famous gorge of Jeti Oguz, Red Rocks. Night is in a yurt.
Day 6: Jeti Oguz - Jyrgalan
First half of the day you can explore the area by own and meet real nomads. They come to mountains in summer times with their cattle. Every month they move from one pasture to another in order to have better pastures. Afterwards is transfer to Jyrgalan valley located in far eastern Kyrgyzstan is a small valley. This remarkable valley greets you with plush, grassy mountains lit by bright sunshine and cooled with fresh mountain air. Locals will invite you to immerse in Kyrgyz hospitality and cultural traditions preserved for generations. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 7: Jyrgalan - Karakol
First half of the day you will have a free time. Then transfer to Karakol town. We will visit the Dungan mosque built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. The next destination is an old wooden Orthodox Church as well as the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explores. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 8: Karakol - Issyk Kul northern shore - Bishkek
Today we will travel to Bishkek city. Then we will travel along the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake and see the whole lake from all sights. We will make a short break to give you the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions (800 B.C.). These petroglyphs were made more than 2 000 years ago by shamans. Admire panorama view of the Issyk Kul Lake. Night is in a hotel.
