Day 1: Bishkek - Burana - Issyk Kul northern shore
On arrival to Manas International Airport you will be met and transferred to Bishkek for about 30-minute from the airport. Today you will have a city tour and visit Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic and so on. In the afternoon we will travel to Issyk Kul Lake, enclosed by the celestial mountains. It's the second largest mountainous lake in the world with altitude 1608 m. above sea level. The lake is also called "the pearl of Central Asia". Then you will visit Burana Tower dated back at 11th century minaret and an open air museum of Balbals so called stone warriors. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 2: Issyk Kul - Grigorievskoye - Semenovskoye - Karakol
The next day of our tour we will travel to Semenovskoye and Grigorievskoye gorges which have connection in the end. You will see highly and great mountains covered with snow at the tops and slopes grown by blue and green pine trees. In the bottom of the gorge you will admire beautiful lakes. Then we will drive to the northern shore of the lake to Karakol town where we can visit the Dungan mosque built in a Chinese style without using a single metal tack. On the way you will visit an old wooden Orthodox Church. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Bishkek
Today we will travel to the famous Jeti Oguz gorge which is well-known for red rocks form that are called seven bulls or Jeti Oguz. On the way you will admire the beauty of Broken Heart Mountain. Then we will go on a top of a mountain. It will take 20 minutes where you can enjoy a panorama view of the gorge. The next destination is Bokonbaeva village. Here you will meet a local eagle-hunter and see an eagle hunting. Then we will drive back to the capital city Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Bishkek - Osh - Guliston - Khudjand
Today is transfer to the Manas International airport for a flight to Osh city. In the Osh we will take you to Tajik border. You will drive over mountains and high passes. Then we will travel via Batken region and relish famous for its apricot trees and beautiful flower called Aigul. Tajik guide will meet you at the other side and take you to Khujand city. On the way to the lakes there is Anzob pass with altitude 3 372 m that has wonderful scene views. The second largest city in Tajikistan is Khujand. City situates on the Syr Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley. Its population is 149,000. Khujand is the capital of the northernmost province of Tajikistan, now calls Sughd. You will go to such sights as Cultural Palace of Khujant in the afternoon. There was chosen Tajikistan's first president. Then you will visit Central Mosque. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 5: Khudjand - Iskanderkul Lake
We are glad to present the next day of our tour where you can visit a beautiful Iskanderkul lake with the altitude 2 255 m. a. s. l. It is located in the famous Fann Mountains. We have no doubt you will like it on tours. Travelers will have opportunity to walk along it beaches and relish such nature. Here you will see beautiful waterfall if you hike for about 30 min. Tajikistan is the country that has second place among the CIS countries for volume of water resources. Tajikistan is the country in Central Asian with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Rest is in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Iskanderkul - 7 lakes - Penjakent
Fan Mountains is ready to admire you on this tour. This place is the most popular hiking areas in Central Asia. Seven Lakes or Marquzor Lakes site will impress you on a tour. See a gorge where 7 lakes are placed on different altitudes and colors. Then we will go to Penjakent. This city is situated in Khujand area of Tajikistan in an astonishing and magnificent Zeravshan river valley. It is possible that the five villages began its history of the great city which was found in the 5th -8thcenturies AD. Penjikent in past times was one of the most significant cultural and crafts centers of Sogd and named "Central Asian Pompeii". It was a well-organized city with a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses decorated with paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. Nowadays travelers will have an opportunity to see the remnants of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers church. Night is in a local guesthouse.
Day 7: Penjakent - Jartepo - Samarkand
In the morning we will travel to the border at 10 a.m. We will go to Samarkand and have a city tour. Samarkand is in the valley of the river Zerafshan as the second largest city of Uzbekistan is Sanarkand. It has the same age as the city of Babylon or Rome. Here you will visit outstanding attractions such as Registan square, Shakhi Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square contains of three fascinating Madrasahs of 15-17th centuries which will inspire everyone on a tour. Shakhi Zindeh is famous for its outstanding mausoleums belonging to the 11th-15 centuries and a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bibi Khanum Mosque was built for the beloved Tamerlane's wife, after his campaign in India. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 8: Samarkand city - Gijduvan - Bukhara
Next day of a tour is to Bukhara. We will stop at Gijduvan village to visit private pottery workshop. Gijduvan ceramics school is passed via generations. Today it is the 6th generation of Narzullayevs family who accepted Gijduvan school ceramics all over the world. Gijduvan School of ceramics is well-known for its geometric pattern. Green and blue colors control in the product design. Afterwards we will continue our tour to Bukhara. Night is in a hotel.
Day 9: Bukhara
Today we will have a city tour in Bukhara. We will visit ancient citadel in Bukhara of the 4th century named Citadel Ark, which used as a palace for several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Here we will see Samanids mausoleum, a real masterpiece of architecture of 9th -10th century. Then we will continue to Chashma Ayub, meaning Job's well and Bolo Hauz mosque, known also as the mosque of forty columns dedicated to the Bukhara governor Abu Fayud Khan. Then you have an opportunity to walk along the shopping domes and visit one of the most famous madrasahs of Bukhara called Nodir Divan Begi which is also a part of Lyabi House Ensemble, famous central sightseeing of Bukhara. The next destination is Poi Kalon complex, the unique sample of architectural art of Bukhara. It has three structures built in the 12th - 16th centuries: Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 10: Bukhara - Khiva
Bukhara is called a "town museum" due to the more than 140 architectural monuments of the Middle Ages. The city was built in a style that has narrow streets, green parks and excellent gardens, historical and architectural monuments of various epochs, and located next to each other. When you travel to Bukhara from Khiva you will pass the famous Kizilkum desert. On your tour you will admire the astonishing river as Amu Darya. That is known as the deepest river in Central Asia, formed because of the confluence of the Panj and Vakhsh rivers in Tajikistan and flows into the Aral Sea. On arrival to Khiva you will have free time. Transfer to a hotel for rest.
Day 11: Khiva - Urgench - Tashkent
Today you will have a tour to the oldest city of Uzbekistan in the inner city of Khiva as Ichan Qala, which has robust walls. Travelers will learn more about centuries of old sound buildings, palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan Sarais and Bathhouses. Being in Ichan Qala you will find more than 400 traditional dwelling houses and about 60 architectural monuments. It is worth noting that in 1969, Ichan Qala became an ancient and architectural conservation district. Kunya Ark fortress is foremost and the utmost attraction over here. This fortress was built in 17th century by Muhammad Arang Khan. Here you will observe Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace, and superb example of Khorezm architectural craftsmanship of 1830s. In the evening you will be transferred to Tashkent by flight. Night is in a hotel.
