Day 1: Dushanbe - Hissor - Dushanbe
On arrival to Tajikistan you will have a city tour and visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament as well as National park to make photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world of about 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. In the afternoon we will drive 35 km to visit Hisor fortress (VII-XVII centuries) and see ancient site has encouraged areas and citadel. The fortress used to be the residence of the delegate of the Emir of Bukhara and placed on a high hill and was well defended with 1 m thick walls. In past times, inside, there was a pool and a garden and across from the fortress there was a busy market square with a caravan serai and shops. In addition, you will see "Madrasa I Kuhna" (16th-17th centuries), mosque; the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" (16th century). We will return to Dushanbe. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Khoburubot - Kalai Khum
This tour will start by travelling to Kalai Khum village through mountain road. We will drive over high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) or Western Pamir Tract. You will pass over the most attractive river valley and astounding gorges in the terrain. On the way we will see small villages and meet local people. Tajiks are by nature hard working and hospitable. They are enchanted by the beauty of wild nature. Night is in a homestay.
Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
On this tour we will drive to Khorog. It is the smallest town on the map of the world and enclosed by rocky mountains from all four wings. The town was built on the confluence of the 3 rivers where Shokhdara river and Ghund river flow into Pyanj river. Being in Khorog you will meet Pamir people and get inspiration of high percentage of people with blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes. Pamirs Mountains are the highest mountains in the world with human population after the Himalayas in Tibet. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Khorog - Kalai Khum
You will pass from Khorog to Kalai Khum and see the high rocky mountains of over 6 000 meters. Traverlers will have a chance to admire the beauty of wonderful nature as high passes, flora and fauna, wild inhabitants and so on. We will have a stop in small villages to communicate with local people and see their lifestyle. On the other side of the river you will see Afgan stony villages and beautiful gardens. Night is in a home stay.
Day 5: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
On this tour we will travel to Dushanbe along Afghanistan border. The highest point of the day is Shuraba pass (2 267 m) where you can be impressed by its unique mountains belonging to the Territory of Pamir Mountains. In past times it was inspired the world's greatest explorers as Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. In addition, we will see Pyanj River and enjoy the mountain system of white and blue mountains. See Norak water reservoir or Tajik Sea. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 6: Dushanbe - Airport
Transfer to airport.
