Day 1: Dushanbe
Welcome to Tajikistan! The driver will meet you in the airport and transfer to Dushanbe. This day is dedicated to a guided city tour. We will visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Afterwards we will walk to National park to make photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and see the biggest National Flag in the world of about 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Then we will visit to Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments and of course Asian bazaar. Being there you will learn more about locals selling and buying oriental goods and so on. Transfer to a hotel for sleep.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Khoburubot - Kalai Khum
This tour will start by driving to Kalai Khum village by mountain road. We will drive over high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) so called Western Pamir Tract among incredible river valley and remarkable gorges in the terrain. On the way you will see small villages and meet local people. Tajiks are by nature are very hospitable and enchanted by the beauty of wild nature. Rest is in a homestay.
Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
Today we will travel to Khorog enclosed by rocky mountains from all four wings. The town was built on the confluence of the 3 rivers where Shokhdara river and Ghund river flow into Pyanj river. Here we will meet Pamir people with blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes. Pamirs Mountains are the highest mountains in the world with human population after the Himalayas in Tibet. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Khorog - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake
The most gorgeous lakes of the Pamirs are Yashil Kul and Bulunkul (Blue lakes), located on the altitude of 3 700 meters above sea level and found in the Murghab district. The color of water in Bulunkul is dark-blue, especially in the sunlight. Species of fish like are found in abundance in the lake. In addition, you will see a unique species of domestic animals as yaks. They produce milk and meat products. On the way to the lake you will drive over Koitezak pass (4 271 m). Rest is in a homestay.
Day 5: Bulunkul Lake - Khorog
This tour will start by travelling to Khorog along Pamir Highway, known as M41 Pamir Tract. It is the second highest mountain road after highway of Tibet. The road is located over mountains and passes on the elevations of more than 4 000 meters above sea level. On the way you will see a diversity of wildlife as wild mammals are Turkestan rat, tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves as well as Marco Polo sheep and snow leopard. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Khorog - Kalai Khum
Today we will travel from Khorog to Kalai Khum. The road contains of high rocky mountains of over 6 000 meters. Travelers will have a chance to admire the unique view of landscape and capture memorable moments. We are sure you will be satisfied on this tour. Here you will see Afgan stony villages and gardens. Night is in a home stay.
Day 7: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
In the morning we will travel to Dushanbe along Afghanistan border. The highest point of the day is Shuraba pass (2 267 m) where you will be amazed by unique mountains. It is Territory of Pamir Mountains. The Pamirs have enthused the world's greatest explorers as Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. Then we will drive along natural border - Pyanj River. On the way you will see Norak water reservoir (Tajik sea). Night is in a hotel.
Day 8: Dushanbe - Airport
In the morning is transfer to airport.
